We understand what it takes to get dancers on stage—the sacrifices, the late nights, the endless to-do lists. Studio directors pouring over every detail, from rhinestoning costumes to editing music; parents making countless drives to the studio and taking on extra jobs. Dancers spending hours in the studio and stepping onto the stage with fearless hearts.
We see it all because we’ve lived it. We’ve been the dancers, the teachers, the directors, and now the event producers. That experience shapes every decision we make and reminds us of the trust you place in us with your dancers—something we’ll never take lightly.

It all started at the studio!
From a young age, we didn’t just love to dance—we loved to entertain. The spark to create our own productions began early, fueled by the energy of the stage and the encouragement of incredible teachers who showed us what passion and creativity could do. Over time, that spark grew into a vision: to build events where every dancer could feel that same joy, excitement, and inspiration.
The Dream Starts Taking Shape!
After years of ideas and dreams, it was time to put everything on paper. The name Journey was born. Logo sketches filled the pages, and the vision for our event experience began to take shape—every detail designed to capture the energy, connection, and celebration we dreamed of bringing to the stage.
Lights, Camera, Confetti!
After months of planning, it was time for our big reveal. We rented warehouse space to film the Journey launch video. With dancers from local studios, a whole-lotta confetti, and plenty of mirror balls, we created an announcement that made a lot of noise—and set the celebratory tone for our debut season.
Hello World, Meet Journey!
It was time to make it official—Journey Dance Competition was here. We announced our first 12 city tour, including our first National event, dropping our debut video to kick things off. The response was instant—studios flooded our inbox, eager to learn more and secure their spot at a Journey event.
Meet Team JRNY!
After wrapping our first tour team recruitment campaign, we hosted our first-ever team training and officially welcomed our 2024 on the road team. We shared the vision and mission behind Journey, built connections, and set the tone for the season ahead. Team JRNY was born!
Journey Hits the Road - Our First Stop!
We kicked off our very first regional event in Sicklerville, New Jersey. With 11 studios, over 500 routines, and 460 dancers, the sold-out weekend was bursting with energy and unforgettable moments. It was a monumental milestone for Journey—and one we’ll never forget.
Summer On The Dance Floor!
Our debut (sold-out) Nationals was an absolute hit—packed with standout moments like Squad Games, The Improv Experience, and our signature Mirror Ball Finales. And the excitement didn’t stop there—both of our 2025 Nationals sold out before 2024 even wrapped!
Double The Fun! Double The Energy!
We kicked off Season 2 with a major expansion—two simultaneous tours, double the cities, and even more unforgettable moments. Journey was bigger, louder, and more electric than ever.
